The bicycle point – located between the Academy and the Westrand – is primarily a functional infrastructure for the storage and rental of bicycles.
It is also an information point for the Wolfsputten and an extension of the cultural center Westrand. A spacious, south-facing terrace is an extension of the café.
A canopy provides shelter and is made up of solar panels and a canvas. The solar panels – all south-facing – absorb the sunlight.
The mobile canvas is hung like a curtain. It surrounds a multifunctional outdoor space for activities for which there is not enough space in the Westrand.
